About The Photographer
Beyond the Camera
I was born and raised in Gainesville, Texas and currently reside in Denton. My favorite way to spend my free time is with family or traveling. I hope to one day have visited all our beautiful national parks. My favorite places I have been to thus far are Yosemite National Park and Oregon (the entire state)!
The Beginning
Summer of 2019 I purchased my first camera for $500 and set out with close friends to my first national park; Yosemite. I wasn't sure what I expected, but it certainly wasn't to be completely captivated by my experience. It was one that I will forever carry with me and credit to immersing myself into the world of photography, the places it would take me and the people I would meet.
The past few years, I have discovered whether its capturing places or people, I have a grand love for being behind the camera. Today, my affinity for capturing moments extends beyond places and landscapes but to people I meet, here at home or out on the road. My moments, your moments, all of it.
My Mission
My mission is simple; capture the moment, lets hold time still.
“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”
– Dorothea Lange
Meyers Creek Beach, Oregon
Arriving in Oregon after a 38 hour drive, Meyers Creek Beach was the first stop on our week long itinerary. Driving in, I wondered if it would be everything I hoped it would be in person. First impressions are everything, and Oregon captured my heart.
Stud Horse Point, Page, Arizona
Visiting Page, Arizona, there always seems to be a new location or hike I had never heard of. This particular visit we drove into Page a few hours early. After some good ol' google earth research, we arrived in time for last light and captured one of my favorite drone shots to date!
